Lebanon, Ohio, November 2, 2022 - Cincinnati based Catch-a-Fire Pizza has expanded to three locations! This popular wood-fired pizzeria will celebrate the grand opening of their new location in downtown Lebanon, Ohio this Saturday, November 5th from 11AM-11PM. Resting in the heart of the historic downtown area, this 7,000 square foot restaurant and bar blends a variety of architectural elements which pay homage to Lebanon's heritage as well custom designs that tie to Catch-a-Fire's colorful roots. Catch-a-Fire Pizza originally opened as a food truck in Cincinnati nearly ten years ago, serving guests street-side at public parks and festivals, as well as catering at private venues throughout the city.
With their hand-crafted, authentic Neapolitan-style pizzas plus twenty beers on tap, Catch-a-Fire Pizza Lebanon offers guests a fun and laid-back dining experience. The menu offers a myriad of selections beyond pizza, including artisan salads and sandwiches, wood-fired wings and house-made desserts. A large portion of the menu utilizes healthy, local foods from sustainable partners such as 80 Acres, The Shroomery and vegan cheeses from Mad Cheese. Catch-a-Fire Pizza also provides a great selection of local, craft beer including MadTree Brewing, Sonder, Cartridge Brewing, Warped Wing, and Fretboard Brewing. If you are a wine lover, you are able to enjoy one of their boutique wines from California or Italy.
The restaurant features a taproom area, separate dining room, indoor / outdoor bar, large patio, and a private event space for celebrating special occasions. Guests will be able to reserve the Broadway Room, which includes a private bar and attached patio. Catch-a-Fire is within Lebanon’s DORA (designated outdoor refreshment area) and will have cups availlable for guests to enjoy adult beverages to-go. Throughout the upcoming fall / winter season, guests will also be able to reserve and enjoy their own private, heated igloo on the patio.
Co-owner Melissa Ledford shared, “The restaurant is all about having a great experience and our team really tries to create a special atmosphere for people to come and have fun and celebrate." Jeff Ledford, Melissa's husband and Co-owner, added, "We designed this space to bring people together. There’s nothing like this in Lebanon." The Ledfords, as well as the entire Catch-a-Fire team, have been awaiting the opportunity to reveal all that Catch-a-Fire Pizza has to offer the Lebanon community. Jeff is a Lebanon native, and added that he is looking forward to having so many friends and family nearby. “It’s amazing to be able to bring it full circle back to my hometown,” Jeff Ledford remarked. “We’re really excited to open." Melissa expressed her gratitude to the Lebanon community stating, “The city and the community have been very supportive from the beginning and that really made us want to be in Lebanon.”
The opening represents a significant opportunity for the community of Lebanon in expanding job availability for the local workforce. During a difficult economical time in the country, Catch-a-Fire has hired over 45 team members at this location and is still accepting applications for cooks, servers and bartenders.
