Catch-a-Fire Pizza Principle: Integrity

What is Integrity?

Integrity is described as “adherence to ethical and moral principles, doing the right thing when no one is looking”. Or, we could say Integrity is when you live in accordance with your deepest values and refuse to compromise on those values.

Our Pizza Principles are the values we have set for our organization and the values we strive to live by.

Honest in Words & Actions

Integrity is a very personal principle and is developed within each person as they grow. Having integrity means you are honest in your words and actions and that you are reliable and trustworthy. Your friends and co-workers know they can count on you to keep your word and live up to your responsibilities.

Kindness & Respect

People with integrity show true kindness to everyone. They show respect to everyone. They offer to help others and may put others’ needs before their own. They do not judge others; they give everyone the benefit of the doubt.

Accountable & Responsible

To have integrity means that you are self aware, accountable and responsible, truthful and consistent. People with integrity are principled and you can count on them because they adhere to fundamental values. Because the environment in a kitchen and dining room can be so demanding, it could be easy to cut corners on food and take our customers for granted. We know our ultimate success depends on satisfying our customers and that is why it is so important to keep the principle “Integrity” at the top of our list.

Ethical Culture

Integrity is acting with honor regardless of whether or not our actions are public, having an ethical culture, and committing to doing what we say we will do based on our Mission Statement.

Professional

For our team members, acting with integrity means conducting themselves in a professional manner which reflects the attitude and principles of the company in which they work. That means NOT cutting corners, with our food OR our service. People go to a restaurant because the food and the service is amazing.

Not Taking Shortcuts

Employees with integrity perform to the best of their ability and will act on principle. They don’t compromise on ideals or cut corners, cheat or lie. They behave according to a consistent code and values. Integrity means not taking shortcuts, not with our food or our service.
