We sparked the first flame in our Mugnaini wood-fired oven on our first food truck in the winter of 2012. Fueled by a passion for a return to craft and a love for pizza, we launched the Catch-a-Fire Pizza food truck in February of 2013. Since then, our truck served all over Cincinnati and beyond, growing into of the area’s premier food trucks, as well as a desired and reputable caterer, capable of serving unique, wood-fired cuisine, cooked on-site! Just two years after hitting the streets with our food truck, we opened our first brick and mortar location inside the taproom of MadTree Brewing Company. Pairing a love for craft food and craft beer, Catch-a-Fire Café was introduced in February of 2015, boasting an expanded menu of beer inspired, wood-fired cuisine.

Catch-a-Fire serves wood-fired cuisine that is fresh, creative and delicious. We utilize the best ingredients and source locally when possible. Combining classical cooking techniques with a modern approach to food, Catch-a-Fire’s team of culinary professionals consistently dishes out high-quality food for the entire family while always providing outstanding customer service. Our menu is large, diverse and certain to please pizza purists, foodies, vegetarians and carnivores alike. In addition to appetizers, salads and desserts, Catch-a-Fire offers more than eight sauces, eight cheeses (including dairy free cheese), over 25 toppings and 20 specialty pizzas all served wood-fired on our own special dough recipe (GF dough available).

Did you know, aside from food, our other passion is music? We are big music fans, and we always had music playing on the truck, and now, in the cafè. While the name of our business captures the fire aspect of our cooking style, it also pays homage to Bob Marley. Catch A Fire is the name of Bob Marley and the Wailers first major US record release. We love how he brought people together in a positive way, and we strive to do the same in our own special way with our delicious wood-fired cuisine.
